Truth Telling Rant

Things just always seem to keep getting worse. Pessimism is at an all time high. Republicans/Conservatives/Tea Baggers hate the United States and her people....that is unless it becomes a theocratic business-run plutocracy. The affects of 30 years of conservative policy have created the same mess that every dominant nation experiences before its collapse. Their presence within this nation is now becoming a serious problem for the continuation the United States.

Republicans are hateful, racists, bigots, hypocrites, thieves, poorly educated, zealots, single-minded, unintellectual, dull, non-sexual (or rapist/pedophiles), and enemies of Liberty. Perhaps this truth-filled rant needs to be stated more often by more people. I believe they threaten the rather robust constitutional that the US rest upon, and that means a lot.

The conditions are in-place for a repeat of the kind Right-Wing terrorism espoused by the Nazis during the 1930's, and I see a lot of the same dialogue coming from the Tea Party rallies today. Be warned, they do not represent the citizens, but their corporate and religious overlords. They are in essence, home-grown terrorist.

The results of not listening to your constituents

When unemployment goes above 30% in Detroit next spring, rioting will begin there and spread to other cities (think 1960's). Eight years of "tax cuts" and ignoring the needs of the poor citizen (not just the voters) will result in needless death, destruction and chaos for all. There is not a system in-place that hasn't been defunded to contain a nationwide riot...the police and military are made up of these same suffering people....

The health care reform failure will be the proverbial straw [that broke the camel's back] for these unemployed people to deal with. To privately insure a family of five, is more than maximum unemployment compensation pays out in a month. You can do the math....they will be pissed and really have no options....

There is not much old, rich [predominantly white] people can do to keep a power grip on the country and this situation much longer.

I don't see anyway around this eventuality. The jobs are simply not there anymore, and will not be returning. Healthcare is something that you cannot wave around in someones face when they have a sick or dying child. You used to have it, but now you don't. The writing is on the wall for anyone willing to look.

I just dread the thought of having my family live through it. The future is bleak, and was created by 20 years of republican (and a few democrats) control.

Healthcare for all, or a civil war of have and have-nots...

The power struggle between the greedy and the poor regarding health care reform needs to be realized from a broader perspective. The poor simply out-number the rich by 95%. History is replete with scenarios where the wealthy have paid with their lives for their unending and unneccessary greed. It is not a far-reaching conclusion to assume that as more people are moved toward the uninsured roles, that a popular movement will be spread through culture to fight against this injustice.

It is my belief that it would be in the best interests of the country to get behind a public option or risk dealing with a bloody revolt in which we ALL will be affected by. It is a pay-to-play option that the rich choose by living in the US. If you are going to live like nobility amongst the masses, then you will pay your graduated tax toward the "general welfare" of the citizens whom backs that you stand on to enjoy your lifestyle here. That is a reality that I believe has been greatly overlooked in the past 30 years as wage disparity grows. The Czar and his ministers learned this 100 years ago, and now it looks like history will be repeating.

Michael Jackson, another casualty of the Wreckade

1958-2009
What more can I say then what is already proliferating on a constant 24/7 news feed. After the dust settles, I believe more people will agree with my assessment of this rotten decade.

In The Year 2000 AD

So branded as a year of futuristic change, 2000 was in many respects, a significant year for The United States....the beginning of the end. It was in this year that it became absolutely clear that there were regional political ideologies that simply cannot co-exist even in a nation founded on diversity. The US Civil War of the mid 19th century has nothing on the political divide that exists today (2009).

State and federal rights are but a tip of the enormous political iceberg that plows throughout the day to day lives of all US citizens now. Everything is political and divisive to the point of insanity. Richard Nixon's legacy of lies and hate set the mold for the modern Republican Party, for it is they who are responsible for having destroyed the United States. I find it a paradox that the Republican Party were at the helm while the nation was restored to order during the Civil War yet it was they whom brought it to a long painful end. There is no compromise with their politics, their way or no way. That is not the spirit of the US, but of the Feudal governments of past history.

I believe that a division into autonomous "nation states" would be the best case scenario as a means to peacefully co-exist. An intellectually-based, technologically superior North East and Midwest to Illinois union that would emphasize a democratic social society. The south would be a capital-based republic with wealthy nobility and larger poor population of serfs to serve them. The West would be fractured and mostly provide the entertainment for their neighboring nations.

Sound good?

If healthcare is not nationalized, Obama is finished....

I truly believe that unless health care is made available for all in the next 9 months, that there will be a devastating crisis as the unemployed en mass become uninsured. The children of these displaced workers do not deserve the medical neglect that they will receive or are receiving.

For the most part, Obama hasn't accomplished anything in comparison to FDR's New Deal reformations. This single issue could put him in the history books as one of the greats if it is begun under his administration, if not, he will most likely be remembered only as the "first black president".

My prediction about the Waterboarding Torture Technique

There will most likely be domestic use (and subsequent deaths) of this as the practice is proliferated via media. A street gang or even suburban children will use this torture method on one another to fatal consequences since it is not markedly made illegal. Will the parents of the murdered child be willing to accept this method as one that is not torture then?

This the path that the Republicans took....with it, they trashed our values and broke the law.....and now we will again pay dearly for their stupid ideas....a la giving Osama Bin Laden weapons and training in the 1980's (Reagan).

The Rightwing Propaganda Service

Is there really much difference between what these two fat asses espouse(d)?
Right wing political propaganda usually always defaults to playing into the fears and ultimately prejudices within a society. When they fail to convince the electorate with their idiotic idea of a two caste system (where the wealthy allow the poor to live off of their scraps), they resort to hate speech. Though not overtly billed as hate speech, they use covert words such as "unpatriotic" or "traitors" to describe their political adversaries or groups at odds with their agenda. Rush Limbaugh has made a career out of hate speech in a nation that prides itself on free speech. The Nazi party was, in all reality, a political party that assumed power and with it the military. Though the conditions of post World War I Germany greatly facilitated the emergence of extreme right wing ideology, the possibility of a political agenda being forced through violence always exists. It is the point of this blog to remind readers that constant vigilance is required when dealing with these hate-talking hogs.

Delusional forecasts for an economic recovery....already

http://finance.yahoo.com/banking-budgeting/article/107038/8-Signs-of-Hope-for-the-Economy

Alright, the same geniuses that didn't see this 40 year old festering economic problem are now declaring it about over. If that is so, how are these issues all of sudden resolved?

  1. Almost no manufacturing jobs anymore, where do all the non-degreed middle class work?
  2. Where do the older, displaced but not ready to retire because of financial reasons go to work to pay for all these McMansions they own? The younger workers are filling their jobs much cheaper....
  3. Health insurance is not affordable for anyone but the super-rich....even corporations are struggling to offset these costs because profits beyond costs are razor thin or non-existent....how has this (national healthcare) been addressed at all?!
  4. The big New Deal type approach to infrastructure has not happened....the private sector is broke and capital is not flowing into projects that benefit all and have lasting potential for progress.
  5. The disparity between the haves and have-nots is growing at a greater rate than ever, the people that deluded themselves into thinking they were part of this upper 5% because they had a couple hundred thousand in a 401k are getting a real dose of reality as to what real wealth is....they actually had very little but inflated compounded stock that was never worth what they paid for it....this is a serious mess...

I see no signs of anything but a worsening of the current situation. This began 40 years ago and will take more than a few months to repair it....that is, if it can ever be repaired.

I hope these delusional bastards stop with these articles that make the assumption that if they write about it, then it must be true. This was the neo-conservative mantra for the last 30 years, I can't handle anymore of it.

One quarter of Americans will never go back to work

The reality of this depression (2009) just has not set in on the masses yet. It must be accepted that 25% of the people laid off or being laid off will never go back to work earning their previous wages in their lifetime! The Baby Boomer generation are going to be facing a brutal reality that their careers have been shipped away or is now obsolete due to technology and their younger lower paid replacements.

Any one of them that voted against and believed that "Government" was the problem will now be relying upon and siphoning from the very system they opposed. And by opposing public entitlements, they have essentially bankrupted these resources and put the burden of debt on their grandchildren as they enroll in Medicare in record numbers. To make things worse, they lived a gluttonous lifestyle and now have tremendous medical problems from excesses. Though this is not a generational tit-for-tat, the blame of this economic mess solely relies on their lifestyle and political choices. Selfishness and new fashion greed had facilitated the deregulation trend that their parents worked (and some fought) so hard against. There were very necessary reasons that regulation was needed in the first place. Putting life-sustaining resources in the hands of the free market seems almost laughable that only an idiot would support, yet it happened across all industries.

Though some of these newly displaced workers will simply slip into a lowly semi-retirement, many will need to continue working since their "401k" (don't get me started on those pyramid scams) retirement plans have greatly devalued. With their professional careers as just a distant pleasant daydream now, they will need to focus on the crappy jobs available to them. Walmart, McDonald's and every other low paying franchise that they help create with their support will now be their embarrassing minimum wage slog until they drop over.

This economic mess is worse than anything before it. Because of Americans insistence on buying foreign manufactured products, there are more unemployed people than there are jobs. I see no way out of this for a very long time....at least until factories are rebuilt and the American middle class returns.

Welcome To The Wreckade

2000-2010; the conjuction of the words "wrecked-decade", is what the beginning of the milleneum shall forever be named. Never before in American history has there been such a period devoid in meaning with festering hopelessness all brought about by a stupid neo-conservative political ideology. Beginning in the late 1960's, a hateful movement of anti-citizen, pro-corporations began to pervasively invade the Republican party as a means to gain political ground. Developed by Richard Nixon, used effectively by Ronald Reagan, and perfected by Karl Rove for George W. Bush, it essentially represented wealth above country and all else. Wrangling in the racist factions of the southern Democratic party (the Dixiecrats) in the early 60's, the movement secured its footing by securing the fear-mongering within the U.S. religious community. Many of the infections that are now killing the United States began solidly during the "Reagan Revolution".

Using their advantage by representing wealth, the Republican party was able to manipulate the economy to their advantage. To achieve the feudal society they so desired, they maliciously enacted an erosion of the middle class by eliminating the well-paying manufacturing jobs with low-cost foreign [slave labor] imports. Impossible to resist as income levels dropped, these low cost products were made readily available by companies such as Walmart that believed in the same Anti-American ethics. With the seemingly impossible task of gaining support of the lower income brackets, the conservatives relied on the pervassive fear and hatred enbued in the american religious institutions as a method control.

It was with the cohesion to the Religious Right that they were able to make tremendous gains and assume true political power. Once in power, the conservatives had to appease the demands of their strongest constituency. The Middleastern wars were on.
